Scrub Daddy- Product Review

Disclaimer: I received 2 product samples in exchange for writing this review. I received no other compensation. The opinions stated are my own.

How many Shark Tank fans do we have out there? My husband and I love to watch it together. Because we're cool. During a recent episode, the "update" featured the "Scrub Daddy." It is rare for us to watch a pitch and actually want the product. But this one had me (and Michael) curious to find out if the claims were true.

My package of Scrub Daddies arrived in the mail shortly after that and Michael and I raced to open it. Then I was off to put it to use.

So let me tell you a little bit about the product before I show you the results pictures. The Scrub Daddy stays firm in cold water for harder to clean surfaces (burnt stuff on stove, dried gunk on dishes- you know what I'm talking about) and in warm water it stays soft. This means you don't have to buy several sponges or scrubbers for different jobs. The Scrub Daddy takes care of them all.

You can put your fingers in the "eyes" to allow you to reach to the bottom of glasses and with the mouth you can clean your spoons and some spatulas- this will come in handy when making cupcake frosting! I always have frosting gooped onto my rubber spatulas.

Also, the Scrub Daddy is scratch-free so you can use it on glass, wood, stainless steel, etc. I promise.

Let's take a look at some pictures.

This is my glass stove top. I was hesitant to try it out here thinking it was going to scratch it.
No scratches and looking pretty good.

This is Scrub Daddy after working on my stove top.

  All clean now.

This is a dish that I had cooked baked beans in. I did not soak it before cleaning it with the Scrub Daddy.

And the after speaks for itself, I believe!
This last picture I'm showing you is what impressed me the most. The Scrub Daddy can peel your potatoes!! Seriously. How cool is that?!! It scrubs off only the peel so you aren't wasting any potato. I love it!
I have also used Scrub Daddy to clean my car floors and seats, stainless steel pans, stainless steel refrigerator, my kitchen sink, and my wooden dining room table.

I haven't tried this one yet, but I read that the Scrub Daddy is great at removing stickers or stuck on adhesive. Must try that one!

Also, if you are interested in buying one, you can pick one up at Bed Bath and Beyond for $3.99. You can also order from Amazon or QVC. Go get you one! You'll love it!!

  1. I'm wondering if you scrubbed that potato before or after you scrubbed your car floor :)

  2. Hey, Allison! Thanks bunches for this really great review! We only catch Shark Tank sporadically (not so cool as you and Michael, I guess! :D ). Anyway, I have somehow completely missed this product, and was really impressed! I gotta say, you totally snagged me with the potato, though - that is super awesome (although I agree with Traci that I'd wanna do the potato BEFORE the car!).

    1. Mine have never left any scratch marks. I use it on my glass stove stop all the time and on my stainless cookware.
